Sheila died at the Kirkland Safe Parking Site (at Lake Washington UMC) in December 2019.  Women in Black stood vigil for her on Christmas Day that year.  Her Leaf was requested to be sited in Ballard by consensus of the women of the Safe Parking Site. Sheila was a huge reader, and was beloved. Cynthia was born 3/30/1962.  She was run over and killed by a car on Aurora Avenue North on 11/4/20. Cynthia camped outside Ballard Commons and was known and loved at the Bridge Care Center.  She is survived by her son Jesse and a daughter. Milan “Lee” Lattan January 15, 1948 – July 11, 2019 Milan’s Leaf request came from both his niece, Maggie Deitsch, and Pastor Jonathan Neufeld of Seattle Mennonite Church. From Pastor Neufeld: “One of our oldest and dearest friends passed away. He had been around God’s Li’l Acre for at least a decade, and operated more like a volunteer, generously giving his time to hosting, cleaning up and helping the drop-in run at its best. He was always fun to be around–charm and wit came naturally. He was intelligent, confident and funny! A go-getter when he had a plan, and he usually came up with a good plan. The most rabid Rush fan I ever met! We went to their concert at the White River Amphitheater in 2007, and had a blast! That look of absolute enjoyment and fun on his face…He always reminded me of a guy who had an angel on one shoulder…
