George William Allen was born on September 13, 1991 and died on September 19, 2023. Photo from George’s obituary. His party specialty was making balloon animals, which endeared him to his daughter, nieces and nephews. William enjoyed participating in sports and outdoor activities of all kinds. Sean was a social justice activist who was part of SHARE (Seattle Housing and Resource Effort) from its earliest years.  Projects and organizations he had a hand in include Tent City 3, Tent City4, Nickelsville, El Centro de la Raza, the SHARE Bunkhouse and Cafe Red.  He was loved by many, many people and did much good work in this world.  He is missed beyond measure. Derrick was living in Tent City 3 with his girlfriend Maribel when he was killed just outside the encampment. The murder is still unsolved. Derrick is survived by five adult children – Tangeray “Tang” Owens, Kierah “Ki” Owens, Del’fontia “Tray” Elam, Terri “Esha” Elam, Quatavious “Qua” Terry – and five grandkids.
