Pattayah (aka Anthony King) lived at 1811 Eastlake at the time of his death. His friend Dieter told us: “Tony used to sing karaoke. He had a troubled life; grew up in Vietnam with an American GI dad & Vietnamese mom; was adopted by a military family. He never lost his faith in God. From Bill Burns’ obituary: “William Burns was born Feb 4, 1949, in Baltimore to Gladys and William Burns. He was a cherished newborn son and brother. Later he was a California surfer, adventurer, friend to many and commercial fisherman. In his thirties he married my sister Linda, and together they raised a son. Byron Edwin Barnes was born February 4, 1965, and passed away on January 20, 2013 at age 47. Byron is survived by his beloved son Ben, a twin brother named Myron, and many brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces, aunties and uncles. Byron was Tlingit and an Alaska native.
