Zachary “Zack” Lewis, 1973—2011

Zachary Lewis's Leaf

7/22/73–3/6/2011

From a friend of Zack’s:

Zack Lewis’s body was found on the corner of Republican and Federal Street, in Capitol Hill. He was living in a Downtown Emergency Services Center housing unit at the time of his death, and was known and loved there.  An impromptu memorial popped up at Fed/Rep (where a park now is) almost immediately.

For more information on Zack’s death and memorial, see this Capitol Hill Seattle article.

Zack’s Leaf is placed at All Pilgrims Church in Capitol Hill. If you have photos or memories of Zack you’d like to share, please post a comment below.

I remember sitting with you and drinking Ice beer and watching movies that left cliffhangers with more questions than answers at the end of the movies. You loved movies like that for some reason. I can still hear laughing at me when I would tell you that picked another weird movie again. RIP my dear friend you are not forgotten.
