Cisco's Leaf

Timothy “Cisco” Larson 1977–2009

Cisco's LeafTimothy Michael Larson, known as Cisco, was born 2/9/77.  He was a street youth in Seattle for a long time, well known and loved.  Cisco was a Broadway kid and hung out near the Jimi Hendrix sculpture.

Cisco died of stab wounds in New Orleans on 4/14/09 during a brief visit there.  Cisco’s mom Kay requested a special exception to our Leaf Request protocol, saying tearfully, “I want to know he’ll be remembered where he was loved before I die.”

Kay came up from Oregon with other family members for the Leaf dedication at All Pilgrims Church on 9/22/19.  She posted to our Facebook page, saying “Thank you so much for honoring our son in such an amazing way. We will never forget you and your kindness and caring that our son Timmy ‘Cisco’ lived and was loved by including him in this way.  His name will be spoken by the people who pass by and see his name on that beautiful Leaf if not aloud then in the minds of the people who never got to meet him will know that he was loved and was somebody’s son.”

Cisco’s Leaf is at All Pilgrims Church. If you have photos or memories of Cisco, please post a comment.
