“Mike grew up in the New Miami Hutterite Colony near Conrad, MT. He left the colony in the early 1980s and came to Seattle, where he lived on the streets. Mike worked the front desk of the Lazarus Day Center for more than 19 years. He knew the names and stories of thousands of people and cared deeply for everyone he met.”
