Thank you so much for your caring actions. Just saw this today. I am Matthew’s mother. Matthew grew up in Eastern Wa and Redmond, Wa. He has 2 brothers and 2 sisters, many cousins, aunts and uncles as well his parents and step-parents.
Sadly Matthew took a wrong turn with drugs. He chose to live away from his family. We were not estranged. He usually phoned me once a year (from different areas) and would not share his location.
Matthew is much loved and missed.
Thank you.

Matt was my first boyfriend in 5th grade in Wenatchee. I still have the stuffed tiger he gave me when he had to move away. I have thought about him all these years and was so sad to hear this news. Peace and love~

I met Matt in high school; we dated for a few years. He was always the life of the party and could make you laugh and smile. His funny sayings and goofy antics are something I’ll always remember when I think of him. He was truly a beautiful soul. I can see him now with his long hair, tight Levi jeans, tan skin and tank top tucked in his back jeans pocket smiling his big smile. I’m sorry his life was tragically taken–he deserved so much more. He touched many lives; I wish he could have seen just how many. I hope you’re rocking out and rocking on my friend ♥️
