Lindsay Lewis 1982—2023

From her obituary in The Daily World:

Lindsay Nicole Lewis-Ashby, 40, tragically left us on May 14, 2023, in Seattle Washington.  She has left behind a loving son Kristar D. Ashby, 12, who was the light of her world, mother Karen Sue Jessen (Glenn), father Mark D. Lewis Sr., a brother Mark D. Lewis Jr., aunts, uncles and five nephews.  Many live in the Grays Harbor and Seattle areas.

Lindsay loved writing poetry, lyrics and singing.  Her laughter and sense of humor always brought a smile to everyone’s face.

Lindsay was beloved at WHEEL Trinity shelter.  She was a fine musician and writer.

Women in Black stood vigil for Lindsay June 14, 2023.
