Jonah “Isaiah” Dellinger 1989–2016
Isaiah was a veteran. He died by suicide on December 15, 2016. Women in Black remembered him at Summer Solstice Vigil 2018.
From Isaiah’s mother Donna Whitehouse: “Isaiah was a beloved Brother, Son, and Father of three beautiful children–loved and missed by so many. He especially had a soft heart for children and animals. Isaiah joined the army, looked up to, and stood up for the Veteran. He was good at strategical board games, was intelligent, and a blast to be around! Isaiah made us laugh often and had a handsome, infectious smile. He will always and forever be in our hearts and on our minds. We miss him more than words can say but look forward to seeing him one day soon. As Isaiah’s mother, I had so much love for my beloved son. I so miss the joy he brought to my life. I can still see his smiling face and hear his laugh. I cherish all the special moments I cannot contain on paper with pen. ”
Isaiah attended Seattle First Baptist Church before he died, and his Leaf is there. If you have photos or memories of Isaiah, please post a comment.
