Charles Spivey 1951–2018
Charles showed up at the doors of Swedish Hospital with wet clothes and socks (no shoes). He died of hypothermia November 19, 2018. Women in Black stood vigil for him.

Charles was a good friend at Macalester College where he was pre-med and a biology major. He chose not to apply to med school and worked for IBM in his early career after finishing college. We lost touch after college until I found him thru Facebook in 2013 or so. I remember introducing him to skiing in Minnesota. For him, turning to the right or left on the ski slope was too complicated when you could charge ahead at high speed straight down the hill.
