Carla Reese 1957-2025

Carla Reese was born in 1957 and died in 2025.

Carla was an elder and a leader at the WHEEL Trinity Shelter.  She often chaired House Meetings and was a faithful participant in Women in Black.  She was a strong but tenderhearted woman.  She died not long after she got permanent housing.  Her son, Joseph Martinez, was also known and loved at Trinity Shelter, as he used to visit his mom frequently.  He also died shortly after getting permanent housing.  Their Leaves were placed next to one another on August 3rd, 2026 at St James Cathedral.
