Daniel Goodwin 1981—2022

Daniel Goodwin was born in 1981 and died in 2022. He was the longtime and loved partner of WHEEL leader Sharon S. His Leaf was dedicated on August 3rd, 2026, at St James Cathedral.

In her inimitable way, Sharon remembers him as “a handsome, fine dude.” He was a talented Portland Art Institute student, and very smart. He did a lot of looking out for others including his partner Sharon.

These Leaves of Remembrance bear witness: The sorrows and struggles of people living without a home are not nothing. There is courage here, and community, and hope. And all too often there is death at a young age, grief for family and friends who will never forget comrades they loved.
